Ms. Young has been on the OMRF Board of Trustees since 1978 and has held the office of Secretary since that time. Presently she is the retired Treasurer for the City of Shawnee where she worked from 1948-1999. She has served on the State Commission for Training City Clerks, Treasurers and Finance Officers. Ms. Young has been certified as a municipal clerk and as a municipal finance administrator. Mrs. Young is a member and Past President of Oklahoma Chapter of GFOA, Oklahoma Treasurers Association, and Oklahoma Association of Municipal Clerks, Treasurers and Financial Officials.

Bertha Ann serves on the OMRF Contract Committee.
